I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of music while building confidence and strong musical foundations. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual goals, interests, and learning style, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where they can thrive.
Whether a student is taking their very first lesson or working toward auditions and performances, my goal is to make learning both engaging and rewarding. I believe music is about more than developing technical skills—it teaches perseverance, creativity, discipline, problem-solving, and communication. Above all, I hope to inspire a lifelong love and appreciation for music that students can carry with them for years to come.

Classical Percussion (Ages 8+)
Students learn proper technique, rhythm, music reading, and musicianship while playing instruments such as snare drum, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, and timpani. Whether you're preparing for auditions, school ensembles, competitions, or simply playing for enjoyment, lessons are tailored to help you reach your goals!
World Percussion / Drum set (Ages 5+)
Experience music from around the world through rhythm! Students are introduced to a variety of percussion instruments and musical traditions in an interactive, hands-on setting. Lessons encourage listening skills, coordination, and confidence, and creativity, while exploring rhythms from different cultures. Areas focused are general drum set (rock, jazz..), West African, Cuban, Haitian, Brazilian, Middle Eastern percussion, and steel pan.
Beginner–Intermediate Piano (Ages 3+)
Piano lessons are designed to make learning fun, engaging, and rewarding. Young beginners build a strong musical foundation through age-appropriate activities, while older students develop technique, note reading, rhythm, ear training, and musical expression. Whether learning for fun or working toward performances, each lesson is customized to support every student's progress.

Rates
30 minute lessons: $40
45 minute lessons: $55
60 minute lessons: $70
Private lessons are offered on a once-weekly basis through the academic year and the summer.
Policy
Lessons cancelled by the student more than 24 hours before the start time of the lesson will be made up at the discretion and availability of the teacher.
Lessons cancelled by the student for any reason less than 24 hours before the start time of the lesson will not be made up and full payment will be required.
Lessons missed by the student without notice for any reason will not be made up and full payment will be required.
Make-up lessons will not be rescheduled. A make-up lesson cancelled by the student at any point will be forfeited and full payment will be required.
Any lesson cancelled by the teacher will be made up or refunded.
